Crowns & Bridges

Crowns and bridges restore and enhance teeth that are damaged, or take the place of missing teeth. A crown (also called a cap) entirely covers a damaged tooth — strengthening it while dramatically improving its appearance, shape and alignment.

Crowns can replace a large filling, protect a weak tooth from fracturing, restore a fractured tooth, attach a bridge, cover an implant, or cover a discolored or root-canal-treated tooth.

A bridge fills the space created by missing teeth using one or more artificial teeth cemented into place with the neighboring teeth for support. Materials may be gold alloys, porcelain bonded to metal, or all-ceramic made to match your natural tooth color, depending on your needs for strength, wear and esthetics.
